Environmental Domain Lead (EMC) (Permanent)
Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £50k - £55k per annum
Position Available: Environmental Domain Lead (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
Location: Bristol or Stevenage - Dynamic Working Hours (Hybrid 50% home working)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Paid Overtime & Company Bonus & Very Good Pension Package
About the role
We are a leading defence company who are at the forefront of innovation in the industry and your work will have a direct impact on the safety and security of the UK & our allies. We are currently looking for an Environmental Domain Lead (Electromagnetic Compatibility) to work in our team.
In this role you will support the team in:
- Developing and delivering proving strategies
- Delivering the environmental domain to stakeholders
- Coordinating strategic activities and assuring technical integrity of design and performance
- Leading environmental working groups
What we need from you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Confirmed experience of planning, managing, implementing & delivering strategies.
- Knowledge of environmental engineering, specifically Electromagnetic Compatibility, within the defence sector or relevant industry
- Knowledge of EMC environments, and their applicability to different products at different life cycle stages
- An understanding of environmental test processes, test measurements and instrumentation
- Awareness of Environmental Engineering Standards and their applicability for Weapon System Development.
- An innovative mindset to develop methods around requirement definition and weapon system proving
