• £500-£575 per a day
• Hybrid Working - 2 full days a week working in London

We are working with a Central Government Department who is looking to bring in a Front End Developer for a long term contract to help successfully deliver a new strategy working with their technical and data team.

The role will be to help with the implementation design and development of software throughout the agile development life cycle of Revenue, Online, and Corporate Applications.

As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for;

• Design, develop, and configure applications, components and tools according to the technical plans set by the Development Technical Lead on agreed programmes and projects
• Follow and contribute to the Software Development Standards and Best Practices in the agile team and specialist area, taking ownership of complex technical development problems in support of the Development Technical Lead
• Uphold the principles and standards of Technology and Data to ensure that work delivered is of high quality, well rounded, robust, very high performing, and meets the priorities set by the agile process
• Responsible for development plans, forecasts and development budgetary estimates, to ensure projects can be planned in a consistent and timely fashion
• Create technical material in support of governance processes such as architecture and change review
• Provide development expertise and insight to support the effective evaluation of new technologies
• Fixing software application defects in accordance with agreed developer operations practices

As a Senior Developer you will have the following experience;

• Developing, supporting, and maintaining data-centric, highly complex and calculation heavy end-user web applications used by internal and external subject matter experts
• Developing, supporting, and maintaining primarily Microsoft .NET based applications and API's serving a wide range of large-scale, high performance, transactional systems
• On-premise development, DevOps, and deployment methodologies and tools
• Expert knowledge of defining and building integrated solution for using

You will also have the following technical skills;

• Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines,
• C# .NET Framework,
• PowerShell
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Specflow, XML
• Azure Cloud
