Job Title: Business Analyst (Reference Data)

Ikas International are recruiting a Reference Data Business Analyst behalf of market renowned commodities house who are embarking on a comprehensive refresh of its trading infrastructure, including a new in-house trading platform who are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower their stakeholders and drive innovation in the industry.

They are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic Business Analysis team. This role will primarily focus on critical Business Reference Data, while also collaborating with other Business and Data Service functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment, accountability, flexibility, self-motivation, and the drive to excel as a team player. This is an exciting opportunity to work with both business and IT stakeholders, contributing to transformative projects that shape the future of their trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the Business and Data Service Team within the Exchange & Clearing Business.
• Cultivate strong relationships with business and IT colleagues to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Participate in various ceremonies for delivering change, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Engage with key stakeholders to define scope, capture user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and refine stories.
• Attend defect triages and support change management processes and procedures.
• Manage your workload efficiently to meet milestones in line with delivery plans.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Analysis team and wider Community of Practices.
• Become a subject matter expert (SME) in Reference Data, providing valuable insights and guidance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial or commodities trading industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile project delivery.
• Knowledge of business process Modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering techniques.
• Understanding of reference data management principles and practices is highly desirable.
• A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.
