PM/BA - Business Process - Databases - Reg Projects (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £650 - £700 per day + Umbrella/PAYE (Inside IR35)
 

PM/BA - Business Process Modelling - Databases - Product Knowledge

A Global Tier One Bank are looking to hire a hybrid PM/BA who holds in depth Business Process Modelling experience, as well as having worked on a variety of different Regulatory Projects.

  • Supporting the delivery of Reg project
  • TOM delivery with Tech components and reporting parts and items around risk
  • Early on in project right now
  • Trying to define the plan and starting of the business analysis
  • Well versed BA/PM - done or written a business requirements doc - knows how to run workshops
  • Influence Stakeholders - line of sight of project
  • Zooming in and out - details and understanding project and where it's going.

Project

  • Reporting and defining attributes within a database
  • Private Equity sponsors - need a response and creating new data attributes ans store them and use them for reporting - as well as enhance current operating model and capturing the data.
  • How the teams are integrated into the front to back process.

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a Project.
  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships.
  • Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
  • Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with stakeholders.
  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established project
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business

Description

Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is

in line with business objectives.

  • Drives adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
  • Assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program can be completed.
  • Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
  • Ensures creation and signoff of project plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
  • Ensures project plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents.
  • Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities, understand the project schedule and key milestones and receive schedule status regularly.
  • Ensures funding has been approved for the project.
  • Ensures all areas of the project are appropriately staffed.
  • Ensures program commitment from those assigning resources.
  • Escalates project risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when
