Job Purpose:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll hold a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Your focus will be on advanced analytics, data warehousing, and fostering a data-driven culture. You will lead initiatives in data modelling, data lakes, and design reporting environments to empower stakeholders with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex statistical analysis on diverse data sets, focusing on data warehousing and data lake solutions.

  • Translate findings into actionable insights, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and others, to visualize and communicate data effectively.

  • Lead the design and optimization of the reporting environment, implementing automated data processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Develop and implement data models to support forecasting and decision-making processes.

  • Manage and execute data-related projects, with a strong emphasis on data modelling and forecasting techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection Act in all data-related activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data literacy and promote a data-driven culture.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in a Management Information/Analyst role, proficient in utilizing Cognos Business Analytic, Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, and SQL.
  • Proven track record of effectively engaging with stakeholders, including senior executives and technical specialists.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Oracle databases, and data warehouses.
  • Highly desirable expertise in Alteryx and familiarity with R and/or Python programming languages.

  • Advanced IT and data analysis skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
