We are looking for a well-rounded Back End focused C# Software Engineer and Manager with a strong track record of building and leading technology squads. You will have a broad and deep technology background with experience across a range of technology stacks including C#.NET.

Description
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be accountable for:
- Building a successful team that consistently delivers high-quality solutions within defined architectures and timescales.
- Individually contributing to the delivery of the team.
- Helping to shape the architecture of our bespoke software products and platforms to achieve non-functional and strategic goals.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft Stack (C#, SQL Server, Azure including functions, pipelines, web apps, App Insights, DevOps)
- Demonstrable experience with a range of modern architectures (microservices, event driven, CQRS, APIs & webhooks).
- Experience working within a range of delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, V-model, Project-based).
- Ability to support a range of delivery roles (project managers, delivery leads, scrum masters) in estimating, planning, and delivering complex software products and projects.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor both junior and more experienced team members.
- Experience of line managing software engineers within a delivery squad.
- Ability to guide complex projects to successful delivery through effective decision-making.
- Must have the resilience and adaptability to work well in maturing technology organisations, and to play a constructive role in driving maturity.
