Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Hybrid (London) - Inside IR35 - 6 Month Contract

Hamilton Barnes are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong Java development skills to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a leading consultancy, serving a major British multinational retailer.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Develop high-quality software solutions using the latest technologies such as JEE, Java 8+, Microservices, Spring Boot, or any equivalent microservices framework.
  • Build robust APIs using REST, SOAP, or GraphQL, demonstrating a proven track record in API development.
  • Write tests in TDD/BDD, Integration test, Performance, Acceptance test, and Contract testing to ensure the reliability and stability of software products.
  • Project implementation and architecture in Miro board
  • Knowledge on the Microservices and patterns
  • Aware of SAST,DAST,APM and performance tweaks

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: London/Remote - 2 Days onsite
  • Day Rate: Up to 450 Per Day (Inside IR35)
  • Start Date: ASAP
