Facilities Management Project Manager/Office Refurbishment Project Manager required by global law firm currently in the process of redeveloping their central London office space comprising 250,000 sq ft of offices and related spaces across multiple floors.
Working closely with the various contractors your focus will be the internal office refurbishment to accommodate business services and staff. The focus will be logistics rather than construction but a background in construction project management will be highly beneficial.
Engaging with senior level stakeholders as well as 3rd party contractor the Facilities Management Project Manager/Office Refurbishment Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the delivery of multiple workstreams, managing projects to ensure they stay on track, on budget and in accordance with sponsor and stakeholder requirements. Elements of these logistics will be the coordination or electrical services, data cabling etc in conjunction with core construction work to ensure that all required services are implemented effectively in line with operational delivery and construction management plans. You will Control and take full responsibility for quality, environment, health and safety performance and overall Construction Design and Management (CDM) for the project managing teams, personnel, vendors, contractors simultaneously whilst reporting to senior level stakeholders and the programme steering committee. You will use a variety of tools but these will certainly include CAD/AutoCAD ensuring that plans are kept up to date.
We are searching for a Logistics Project Manager/Construction Project Manager/Facilities Management Project Manager who has delivered similar projects within (ideally) Law Firm environments or professional services (large-scale office) environments. You will be experienced in both stakeholder management AND 3rd party contractor management able to manage building contractors, service providers (plumbing, electrical services, data cabling) as well as facilities management and refurbishment contractors alike. You will be adept at CAD/AutoCAD, QFM, CAFM systems and be able to update project plans as required to be able to report effectively to senior management. You will be well organised and possess exceptional communication skills.
