SQL Database Analyst (Permanent)
Location: City of London Country: UK
A leading insurance firm is looking to hire a SQL Database Analyst to join their growing DBA team. Along with assisting with the IT needs of the company you will also monitor and ensure the day to day maintenance of systems and hardware while providing an IT trouble-shooting service.
Key requirements:
- Manage MS SQL estate of approximately 70 SQL Servers (mixture of versions including Azure SQL)
- Manage automated MS SQL backup and restores
- Upgrade MS SQL
- Deploy new MS SQL Servers
- Provide advice/assist to infrastructure or DR solutions
- TeamCity/Azure DevOps SQL/DB Pipeline creation and management
- SSIS Server and package management and tuning
Key Skills:
- Expert MS - SQL Server
- Good Azure SQL Knowledge
- Expert Transact SQL level
- MS SQL Server Install/upgrade experience
- Expert SSIS knowledge
- Expert level performance tuning
- Expert level diagnostic and fix resolution
