Oracle Middleware Engineer - Hybrid/Remote
One of our biggest customers is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Middleware Engineer. The role is a remote/hybrid role. This relates to idea of the client wanting the individual to have the capacity to go into the office a couple of times a month OR if required for a strategic get together.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will provide second and third line infrastructure support to the business along with technical project support to Project and Programme Managers across the business. You will be focussed on providing an excellent, proactive service to the business. You'll be involved with incident management and root cause analysis, as well as application management of off-the shelf and bespoke applications - you will oversee and/or perform the installation, removal, configuration, and repair of IT infrastructure components.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience of Oracle Application Server Proven technical experience of Oracle Application Server Forms and Reports
- Configuration Experience of Oracle Weblogic Server 12c and 14c
- Experience of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c and 13c
- As a result of working within an infrastructure support role we'd expect you to have gained experience around ITIL, Service Now [or similar] and knowledge of the agile framework.
- As well the expected technical skills, we're looking for someone to have good stakeholder management skills as you willl be liaising with various areas of the business on regular basis
