Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Engineer (Contract)

Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Engineer
10x Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineers are required to work for a major defence client on an 18 month contract.
Hourly Rate: £43.45 PAYE or £57.33 Umbrella
Hybrid - expected onsite 2 days per fortnight.
Working location flexible: Barrow (Cumbria), Filton (Bristol), Frimley (Surrey) or Brough (Yorkshire)
Key Skills
- BEng (Hons)/MEng or equivalent.
- CEng (or be able to satisfy requirements for CEng)
- Technical report writing skills.
- Demonstrable experience of engineering life cycle.
- Knowledge and experience in defence standards whilst not essential would be an advantage.
- Instrumentation and control system theory including PID control
- Electrical circuits design, EMC precautions and power supply characteristics
- Safety Integrity Levels and BS EN 61508 or 61511
- PLC programming to IEC 61131-3 standard
- Fieldbus technology (Profibus/Profinet)
