Content Designer - Remote contract

Our client are a top tier consltancy looking for a Content Designer on a 6 months contract.

Job Spec:

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Content Designer, Content Strategist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of digital content projects.
• GDS Experience: Demonstrable experience working within the Government Digital Service (GDS) environment, with a solid understanding of GDS principles, methodologies, and standards.
• User-Centric Approach: A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate user needs into clear, actionable content.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engaging and accessible content.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), digital publishing tools, and other relevant software applications.
• Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG, and experience creating accessible content.
