Summary of the role

Due to exciting growth within our Business Operational Support function, we are seeking a graduate to join our Actuarial Team and begin their career as an Actuarial Analyst.

You will be responsible for supporting with complex manual calculations and policy queries from our customer-facing teams, building up your skills whilst working towards an Actuarial qualification.

What you'll be doing

• Completing complex manual calculations to support business enquiries.
• Providing responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas.
• Providing calculations expertise to enable one-off corrections to be completed by other business areas.
• Updating and testing regular changes to systems including regular bonus updates, policy fee updates and premium rate changes.
• Using and interrogating complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered.

What we're looking for

• Maths or Maths-relevant degree.
• Passion and drive to begin your Actuarial studies.
• Good knowledge of Excel and similar systems.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Excellent analytical ability.
