Data Business Analyst (Contract)

Working with a global banking client to secure the services of a Data Business Analyst for a HR/ER transformation programme based in London

The Data Analyst /Data Business Analyst creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality, with a particular focus on data requirements and design. They will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation of solution design, documenting and executing test scenarios and performing a variety of other change and implementation management activities.

They may be required to support change management activities spanning from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (eg ingestions, communications, training, support, organisation alignment); tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback.

They will also be responsible for defining and tracking metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the programme and providing relevant data to ensure that programme decisions are data and insights led.

The ER Transformation Programme for 2024 is focused on implementing a new Investigations service operating model including:

    • Initial case assessment
      • Investigation Quality Review model
        • Globally standardised investigation process
          • Building Investigations Capability through skills review and Investigation Academy

            The role holder works independently and has a high level of flexibility to consult with the business at all levels. They will need to have the ability to work closely with and build good relationships with HRIT and ER SMEs.

            The role holder will be responsible for managing the analysis and design of the Onboarding processes leveraging Onboarding technology chosen by the bank as part of the Total Talent Transformation programme.

            • Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed solutions and structures based on business requirements translated into technical solutions, challenges business intent in a constructive manner
            • Manages requirements traceability through design and delivery
            • Supports the programme management with impact assessment for change requests on design, scope, time, budget or effort on programme plan and provides accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope

            Experience - Essential

            • Experience of data design and identifying configuration values from requirements to implementation delivery
            • Experience of operating in a significant programme and/or change environment
            • Works in a flexible way, taking responsibility for all areas of work as required and adapt to change

            Experience - Desireable

            • Experience in HR/ER with a strong understanding of the impact HR/ER processes have upon HR Systems
            • Understanding of ServiceNow, SuccessFactors and Automation principles
