Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting new opportunity has become available within the group finance department of a progressive and expanding organization based in Horwich. This Assistant Management Accountant role, which has become available from an internal promotion, is a great opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in finance. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience & thrive in a changing environment. This is a role suitable for someone wishing to learn & progress.Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with the preparation of month end management accounts
• Assistance with the preparation of month end P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Raising monthly manual invoices
• Supporting our Finance Assistant with the recognition of daily revenue and cost of sales
• Assisting with auditor queries and requests where required

Required Skills & Experience:

• Studying towards accounting qualifications (AAT or early stages of CIMA/ACCA).
• Good Excel skills, with a passion for developing this further
• Highly organised, self-motivated, enthusiastic personality
  • Excellent communication & team working skills

Package & Benefits:

• Salary of £25-26k per annum
