We are working with a market-leading digital B2B events, publishing and subscriptions business, based in the heart of Bristol, who are looking for a Sales Executive to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving event sales and managing client relationships. You will also play a key role in promoting events, securing sponsorships, and ensuring the success of each event through effective sales strategies.
What you'll be doing- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Generate sales leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Collaborate with the events team to create compelling sales proposals and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and sponsors
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities
What you'll need to apply- Minimum of 2 years in event sales
- Experience working with technology or financial services companies, particularly in delivering media, and event propositions
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the events industry and market trends
- A proactive and results-driven approach to sales
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Clean UK driving license to travel to events across UK
