A leading supplier of rolled copper alloy are looking to recruit a Furnace Engineer based in Aston, Birmingham are looking to recruit a Furnace Engineer.Combining state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and practices with 150 years experience and heritage, they have become the UK's largest and most up-to-date manufacturer of precision-strip, with a worldwide prestigious customer baseAnnual Salary/Benefits:
  • £32,000 (OTE £38,000)

Daily Hours: Monday to Friday 7am until 3pm. These hours maybe amended.Working within their Foundry maintenance team, building and maintaining induction channel furnaces and carrying out routine Foundry Maintenance.Your role:
  • Carrying out small brick work projects.
  • Installing both dry lined and wet rammed refractory materials.
  • Assisting in the day to day breakdown repairs in the Foundry.
  • Repairing heat treatment furnaces
  • Ensuring that high volume production equipment is running effectively at all times.
  • Responding to reactive machine breakdowns.
  • Adhering to a preventative planned maintenance programme.
  • Working within very tight tolerances and high precision.
  • Experience in building and maintaining furnaces.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Fork Lift Truck licence is desirable
