Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wainwright House, 4 Wainwright Close, St Leonards On Sea, East Sussex, TN38 9PP
Salary: Starting 27,500 up to 35,000 per annum dependant on experience
Job Type: 40 hours a week, 8-hour shifts (Early/Day Shift 6am-2.30pm/7.30am-4pm)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Multiskilled/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery and equipment and the upkeep of our facilities.
Our Machinery includes but is not limited to; Flat sheet LDPE extrusion lines, Recycling plant (consisting of a Pelletiser, Shredder & Granulator), compressors, side channel and rotary vane vacuum pumps, material conveying systems and chilled water systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues
- Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues
- Follow company safety procedures at all times
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Communication with contractors and suppliers when required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals and drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Certification or relevant qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
