Join us as an Electrical Systems Supervisor &
High Voltage Officer and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based at
our JFK Airport site in NY.

As an Electrical Systems Supervisor & High
Voltage Officer, you will be responsible for supervising all work activities
for operation, maintenance and repair of power systems, propulsion power
substations, building and station power systems, and un-interruptible power
supplies and associated cabling. The incumbent will ensure all work is
completed according to the specifications, applicable codes, and quality
requirements. The High Voltage Officer
is responsible for planning and controlling the power distribution system and
safely operating local or remote manually controlled transformers, AC/DC switches,
circuit breakers, rectifiers and associated equipment.


Ensures compliance with safety regulations & safe work practices.

Verifies completed work meets acceptable safety and quality control
standards. HVO ensures all electrical
work is performed according to specifications, applicable codes, and industry
safety standards.

Inspects the work of power technicians that repair electrical systems
and troubleshoot electrical faults.

Interprets maintenance manuals, electrical schematics and drawings, and
prepares drawings or schematics to communicate with others in performance of

Interpret and analyze circuit diagrams and equipment layout drawings to
determine safe operation of circuit breakers and transformers. In cases of
power failure, determine rerouting of power to undamaged portions.

Respond to emergencies and failures in accordance with established
procedures through immediate response and quick action.

Create and implement work schedules to ensure proper support and
maintenance of electrical systems.

Ensures maintenance work orders are recorded accurately and completely in

Basic Qualifications:

School Diploma and
5+ years of experience in maintenance of power distribution with
computer-controlled systems in an online operating environment.

Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office.

experience in a union environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical trade qualification
as a Journeyman electrician/Mechanical training or Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering.

Experience in the
transportation industry.

Experience utilizing
SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.

High Tension System Operator

Experience using IBM Maximo for planning and tracking work orders.
