Job Details

 

Cook (Full Time)

Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH, OH Country: United States of America
 

Schedule: 2 days per week 5:30 am to 2:00 pm and 1 day 11:00 am to 7: 00 pm.
Occasional Weekends, rotating holidays


Performs various hospital food service duties related to preparation and cooking (eg prepares, cooks, plates, and/or serves food in bulk or individual portions) for patients and other customers following standard practices. Schedule: 2 days per week 5:30 am to 2:00 pm and 1 day 11:00 am to 7: 00 pm.
Occasional Weekends, rotating holidays


1. Education and Training
High School Diploma or equivalent; ServSafe level 1 and 2 required within 90 days of hire/transfer.

2. Experience
Two (2) years of cooking and food preparation experience.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

1. Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift, push and pull medium weight objects; occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects.

2. Ability to withstand hot and/or humid, cold and/or icy temperatures due to heat and cold producing equipment.

3. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with patients, visitors, hospital staff and coworkers.

4. Must possess knowledge of and be in compliance with local, state and federal food handling regulations.
