Join us as a Railroad Maintenance Supervisor and
you'll be looking at a career-defining role based in Los Angeles, California.

As a Railroad Maintenance Supervisor, you will be
responsible for managing outline facilities, personnel, and trains.

This position is a 2nd/3rd
shift role.


Learn Metrolink
Train cycles to make quick and sound decisions.

Make decisions on
equipment swaps and repairs and assess the quality of equipment repairs.

Commute to the Central
Maintenance Facility (CMF) for collection of parts.

Coordinate work in
shop from information received on work schedules, defect lists and work orders.

Coordinate and
improve production of employees.

Inspect Macadi
(cleaning service) daily.

Perform daily checks
on mechanic performance.

Identify and request
training as per employee training needs.

Ensure health &
safety procedures are followed.

Take on special
projects as required.

Monitor timekeeping
and paperwork accuracy to meet FRA, Company and Customer demands,

Oversee all 6 outline
points as well as people, trains, material, vehicles, and work with operations
to resolve any and all issues that might arise.

Travel to outline
points throughout the month to make sure they are all in compliance.

Communicate between
CMF and outline points' (OLP) supervisor, employees, and MOC to insure a proper
flow of information, and documentation.

Monitor outline
employees training so it will not impact service.

Inform CMF of pending
repairs that cannot be taken care of at OLP's.

Responsible for
employee's timekeeping and payroll.

Exhibit excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.


Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience performing maintenance in the passenger rail transit industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in a supervisory position.
- Experience with FRA, DOT, and Title 49 CFR rules and regulations regarding passenger rail industry.
