ABOUT THE ROLE The Cardiovascular ICU Advance Practice Provider functions within the adult ICU areas and is integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The CVICU APP functions primarily managing critically ill adults and serves as a resource throughout UKHC for intensive care interventions. The APP is generally on a service aligned team and manages the day-to-day patient care from ICU to step down to discharge.
