Hospitalist needed for a locums practice in Minnesota Specialty: Hospitalist Coverage dates: ASAP-Ongoing Shift Description: days and swings (8am-6pm, 2pm-12am). Swing Shift 2pm-12am, last admit 11pm, cross cover only between 6pm and 8pm only, staffed for 1 admission every 1.5 hours. Low acuity ICU admits only BiPAP, single presser, no vents, can defer to critical care if appropriate. Day shift 10 hours. Days 8am 6pm (10 hours). Swing 2pm 12am (10 hours). No ICU rounding. No vent management. No procedures. Pulm/Crit runs Code Blues. The candidate must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Candidate must have recent hospitalist experience. No ED based, mixed practice based, or critical access hospitals. The candidate must be able to provide 7 on/7 off coverage for either day shift or swing shift.
