Academic Faculty Physician- Acute Care Surgery

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an ACS-trained surgeon to join the faculty in the Department of General Surgery, Section of Acute Care Surgery. In this role, the surgeon will equally share time at the level 1 trauma center at Atrium-Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and at High Point Medical Center, a regional system hospital, staffing the emergency general surgery service.

We seek applicants with a demonstrated commitment to patient service and a demonstrated commitment to the education of learners at all levels (medical student, resident, and fellow). Board certification or eligibility in general surgery/critical care and completion of a 2-year ACS fellowship are required.
