We are looking for an Associate to join our well established team in Menlo Park, California. This role is central to our operations, requiring the individual to manage multiple assignments, make court appearances, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be expected to work well both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities: Prioritize and handle multiple assignments from different partners to meet deadlines Represent clients independently in various family law hearings Work independently and collaboratively with legal secretaries, paralegals, and fellow attorneys Maintain clear, skillful, and discreet communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, consultants, etc. Use proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software such as Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and others to perform job functions Draft motions, pleadings, letters, memos, and other documents Handle case management and civil litigation tasks Address and resolve complaints and issues related to family law Conduct thorough and varied research using multiple means including WestLaw, Attorney's Briefcase, online sites, and hardcover library books Document all processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements Possession of a valid license to practice law Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney/Lawyer Experience with Case Management Software Proficient in using Legal software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Highly organized with attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Job typePerm.
