Looking for candidates out of food distribution with Sales & or Marketing experience experience The Customer Marketing Manager holds a crucial position, advising restaurant operators and offering marketing consultative services to key customers and internal teams. In close alignment with divisional goals, the manager oversees an amazing team specializing in business solutions, culinary, and product expertise.

This role includes leading and managing employee and customer engagement, marketing campaigns, and customer events across a regional footprint, with primary office location at the Taunton, MA Distribution Center. How you will make an impact: Drives relevant business, culinary, and product solutions to key customers. Aligns marketing team activities to support the initiatives of the divisional Sales and Marketing strategies, with the ultimate goal of increasing the overall market share of our company Supports the planning and execution of regional customer events, marketing campaigns, and Sales & Marketing meetings that align with the long-range plans and divisional goals.

Ensures consistent and relevant product, culinary, and business solution training for sales and specialist teams. Determines and appropriately manages the budget and expenses of the customer marketing team in the assigned region. Manages a team of divisional customer-facing specialist(s).

May interview, hire, train, and retain staff. Conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiating follow through with disciplinary action and termination in consultation with Human Resources when appropriate for the department. Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and acts as a role model and resource to them.

Develops succession plans. Performs other duties as assigned. What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years previous marketing and/or food service sales experience -or- 8 years previous marketing and/or food service sales experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Must maintain a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and safe driving record per our policy. Must be willing to travel within geographic footprint and frequently commute to an office located in our Taunton, MA distribution center. People Leadership experience preferred.

Excellent customer service, mentoring, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to develop, refine, communicate, and implement plans and to set and define goals. Must maintain knowledge of industry trends and be able to provide training on the technical aspects of the commercial restaurant segment.

Must have industry and segment knowledge and be able to analyze and interpret data. Must have good time management, administration, and organizational skills. Must be able to build relationships, network, influence, and link resources to plan and execute business practices.

Must have the ability to multitask and be able to work exceptional hours including evenings and weekends. Be willing to take on new responsibilities with a strong desire to succeed. Develops solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
