The Software Programs Central QA team is seeking a Feature Integration Quality Engineer to create, run and report on tests of upcoming software features across all Apple products and platforms. We work in a fast-paced environment that relies heavily on strong communication and building partnerships between developers and interdepartmental QA teams. We're looking for organized, critical problem solvers who would like to play a key role in driving the testing and coordination of QA efforts.
As a member of our fast-paced group, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.Key Qualifications3+ years of experience crafting, maintaining, and executing test plans at all application layers.Extensive experience with different testing methodologies including integration, stability, performance, reliability, and stress testing.
Experience leading testers, with emphasis on planning and managing cross-functional testing.Skilled at debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving - applying analytical thinking skills to systematically assess project quality, and prioritize issue resolution.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
Solid understanding of diffusion and generative models in software, including training, fine-tuning, optimizing, deploying, and testing.Experience testing APIs.Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.A phenomenal teammate with the ability to act as a mentor and peer leader.
Easily adaptable in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and demanding environment.DescriptionIn this role, you will test high profile, cross-functional software features on Apple platforms that are announced at WWDC and other Apple events. You will analyze ambiguous feature proposals for risks, and break down complex systems into component parts for testing.
You will create, carry out, and present results of test plans to executive stakeholders, and transition feature testing to long term support.Education & ExperienceBS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $107,500.00 and $223,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
