Direct Hire Parts Manager/Inventory

Up to $90,000

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department to ensure efficiency, consistency, and dexterity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, expand, and manage customer relationships to enhance parts sales.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
• Assist in forecasting goals and objectives for the parts department.
• Collaborate with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs.
• Provides technical assistance to parts department employees.
• Monitors parts department employees' payroll records.
• Handles customer complaints immediately.
• Enforces safety requirements, including but not limited to forklift training and operation, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried and OSHA Right-to-know.

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
• Knowledge of industry, including marketing plans, security and safety programs.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet programs such as Excel.
• Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
• Previous mechanic or sales experience
• Product knowledge to ensure they identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts
• Extensive experience in the industry
• Previous experience in a parts department
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
