The MBG team delivers full lifecycle solutions-from project inception and planning, through deployment to ongoing support and maintenance.The roleThe Sales Executive is a quota-carrying salesperson responsible for selling large Microsoft-centric Professional and Managed Services engagements to new and existing clients in a combination of industries.

You will collaborate with a virtual team from across the business around the sales cycle. This role combines the skills of hunting, farming and industry selling experience and is a high growth opportunity with excellent earning potential by meeting and exceeding sales targets within a specific set of accounts. Location: Virtual with travel as needed.

Key responsibilitiesDevelop business by crafting new and handling existing demand via various lead generation channels, including:Cognizant and Microsoft account teams in existing and targeted accountsBringing to bear your skills to break into greenfield accounts (new logos)Functioning as an MBG industry ambassador, you will set the overall tone in delivering outstanding experiences with everyone you interact withTaking the lead on pursuits and acting as the conductor of the orchestra, you will be coordinating the selling of the entire MBG services portfolio in partnership and collaboration with a wide collaborator community, including:MBG colleagues, including teams consisting of technical sales support, solutioning, alliances, project management, marketing, and executives.Cognizant colleagues within various account teams, service lines and market unitsMicrosoft Corporation account team membersClients and prospectsVarious partners, vendors and the greater communityExperience and skills needed to be successful in this role:10+ years selling Consulting services to Enterprise ClientsKnowledge of Microsoft's Ecosystem, including:Enterprise on-premises, hybrid and cloud software and services portfolio, with emphasis in BizApps and D365 Solutions. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 sales lifecycle experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple product families.

Execution in a team-selling environmentSkill in navigating within a Global System IntegratorCreate and lead relationships with technology AND business decision makers, including the C-suite.Knowledge of all facets of opportunity and account development & managementDeep understanding and management of complex solution sales cyclesKnowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, eg, Challenger SellingDeep experience in creatively overcoming sales obstaclesExisting relationships with Microsoft local field teams and understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem is a plusDigital Transformation industry specific experience.Preferred Experience MS or MBA degree preferred.

Strong background in a project environment and application development Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Must be detail oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments. Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.

Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $185,000 - 195,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
