Job Details: Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider (APP), St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Steward Health Care, Boston MA. The Division of Nephrology at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a member of the Steward Health Care System located in Boston, Massachusetts, and a teaching and tertiary care hospital, is seeking a full-time employed Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA). St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is a 308-bed teaching hospital that serves as the tertiary care facility for the nine-hospital Steward Health Care System in Eastern Massachusetts. It is academically affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of hospitalized patients with kidney failure who require life-sustaining renal replacement therapy (on the wards and in the intensive care unit), including intermittent hemodialysis, continuous veno-venous hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis
• Provide continuing care for patients with end-stage renal disease underdoing dialysis at 3 nearby outpatient dialysis centers

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 6-12 months of experience in managing patients with kidney failure
• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
