Key Position Details:

• The provider provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in an o utpatient practice providing care to complex adult patients
• This position is primarily centered within the Abbott Northwestern Center for Outpatient Care clinic located near the intersection if I-494 and Hwy 169 in Edina
• Will be responsible for Same Day & Acute Care in an outpatient setting
• Full time position
• 8 hour shifts. Generally Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm
• No call
• Team currently consists of 22 Internal Medicine providers
• Supportive and collaborative provider group
• Focused on provider well-being and having a work-life balance
• EMR: Excellian is one of the most comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) systems in the nation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an NP or PA in internal medicine. New grads will not be considered
• Certified/licensed Nurse Practitioner ( ANCC or AANP ) or Physician Assistant upon hire by the NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or MN Board of Medical Practice.
• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required
• ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
• Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
