Nurse Practitioner- Thoracic Surgery

Due to continued growth of our cardiothoracic service line, we are looking for a talented nurse practitioner t to join our nationally rated program! Hoag is a 653 bed hospital system in Orange County recognized for its excellent outcomes, high patient satisfaction, and academic-level care delivered in a personal, community-focused practice. Our cardiothoracic program has earned 3 out of 3 stars from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons in numerous categories, performing the full-spectrum of CT surgery procedures, including a high-volume of robotic surgeries.

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to assist in the operating room, manage ICU and floor patients, and see patients in the clinic. Important attributes for our team include excellent operative skills, attention to detail, honesty, and being a team-player. The Nurse Pracitioner must be able to function independently, with supervision. Duties will be shared with other NPs. Necessary qualifications include board certification, ability to obtain a California Nurse Practitioner, Furnishing and RN License, DEA license, and ACLS certification.
