Then come join the T-Mobile team as a Principal Security Architect!The Principal Architect in Cybersecurity Strategy, Architecture and Roadmap (SAR) team plays a key role in shaping the security of T-Mobile's technology strategy by defining, enhancing, and implementing T-Mobile's information security architecture. This role will apply expertise in architectural framework and design modeling, strategic planning, roadmap development, and technology analysis in order to provide a secure experience for T-Mobile's customers & employees and protect critical assets from threats. Provides guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the security standards and best practices.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal IAM Architect with direct hands-on experience in leading large-scale IAM projects and transformational initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our Identity and Access Management strategy. As a key member of our technology team, the Principal IAM Architect will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's information assets by ensuring secure and efficient access to systems, applications, and data.

Job Responsibilities:Work cross-functionally to understand the linkage between T-Mobile's business goals, business architectures, technology and security architectures - and strive to further T-Mobile's business goals via evolution of T-Mobile's architectures.Drive the evolution of security infrastructure, processes, technology, and services by influencing decision makers.Prepares and maintains documents including reference architecture diagrams, roadmaps and sequence diagramsCompile, deliver, and promote end-to-end technology and security roadmaps that guide the evolution of security infrastructure, products, and services by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplinesResponsible for Forging powerful and effective working relationships with lines of business & technology partners, making sound decisions, successfully, making changes, initiating action and ultimately drive the evolution of security.

Serve as an authority across multiple security domains to Influence partners and ensure alignment with security strategy and architecture principles by driving collaboration across the enterprise's business & technology architecture functions, the inclusion of security strategy roadmaps into enterprise technology roadmaps, and the adoption of security reference architectures and standard processes.Drive key cybersecurity programs and projects that align to the overall strategy, ensuring adoption and delivery of the roadmap.Stay informed on emerging technology in the cybersecurity & industry, drive awareness among key partners, and inspire the drive for change improving T-Mobile's cybersecurity posture.

Mentor team members on information assurance and security standard processes in area of expertise.Technology and Platform Experience Requirements: IAM tools such as (but not limited to) Okta, SailPoint, Entra ID, Ping Identity.Federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.Cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM capabilities.Directory services such as Active Directory and LDAP.

Access management and governance tools.Security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.Collaboration with DevOps tools and practices.

Qualifications:At least 6 years relevant experience as a Security Architect in previous roles.Direct hands-on experience with large scale IAM projects and large-scale transformational initiativesProven understanding and experience within large Enterprise security solutions and technologiesDeep understanding of IAM capabilities tied to a framework approachExperience writing and driving creation and updates to security policyDeep understanding of creating and driving StrategyExperience preparing and presenting to senior leadership, including presenting complex security or architectural solutions in an easy to digest mannerComputer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited 4-year college or university, or related work experienceMinimum of 8 years in information security rolesRelevant certifications (eg, CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:Travel Required (Yes/No):YesDOT Regulated:DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):NoSafety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):NoWashington Pay Range : $164,700.00 - $222,800.00The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed.

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.

Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
