Job Description:Employer: DFS Corporate Services LLCJob Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer(multiple openings)Job Location: Riverwoods, ILJob Type: Full Time Duties: Contributes to product delivery, influenced by strategic direction across Business Technology and enterprise including investment decisions (ie build vs buy) across multiple products. Uses automation, system tools, open-source solutions, observability and 'security first' principles in daily work. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: 1. Distributed system engineering and support including Unix/Linux, Cloud infrastructure and application orchestration, monitoring, and scripting; 2.
Platform performance monitoring and observability (Grafana, App Dynamics, etc.) and troubleshooting; 3. Application of security controls including user authentication, authorization, and data encryption/decryption, data tokenization/detokenization; 4. Engineering and administration with cloud technologies including servers, block, file level, content storage, and application load-balancers; 5.
Audit requirements including PCI or SOX; 6. Hardening and supporting DevOps using orchestration (Ansible, Chef), automation using scheduling (IBM Workload Scheduler); and 7. Experience with Ab Initio platform architecture, its full suite of products and having experience supporting it using orchestration and automation.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $144,560.00 to $175,600.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
