Would you like to be a foundational part in delivering on Microsoft's AI commitments by joining a security team dedicated to ensuring the safety of our critical infrastructure?The Security Engineering & Critical Infrastructure team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) who is a thought leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM), technically adept, creative, and adaptable.

This role will work across software, operational technology, networking, and security engineering teams to enable centralized identity and access management solutions for critical infrastructure systems and business processes. , Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ?relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 6+years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.4+ years people management experience.3+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in IAM or related fieldKnowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Identity & Access Management, or tools such as Delinea Secret Server, Cisco ISE, CyberArk, or OKTA4+ years people management experience.

Attention to detail, data analysis skills and a clear understanding of IAM concepts, solutions, and best practicesEfficient communication skills with experience in creating executive presentations, technical specs, and white papersPeople networking and relationship management skillsExperience with Azure DevOps engineering planningProficient analytical capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Tools - Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Automate/Power Platform, Azure DevOpsTechnical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
