Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start Travel Requirements: Negligible Location: Dam Neck, VA SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to analyze/assess sensors and antennas as well as make recommendations for and design optimal configuration. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct Radio Frequency (RF) cascade analysis and make recommendations for improvement/design.
Digitally test Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum design to ensure viability. Conduct Radio Frequency (RF) analysis in Matlab, including communications and signal processing toolkits or similar Radio Frequency (RF) analysis suites. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering.
Up to six (6) years of experience of installation testing/analysis at various naval bases. Three (3)+ years of full-time professional experience in design, development, production, and/or testing of electronic, electro-mechanical, and/or hydro-electronic equipment. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate's suitability for the position.
