GENERAL RADIOLOGY FACULTY POSITION

Department of Radiology, VCU Health, Richmond, VA

The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for one full-time faculty position in the Division of Diagnostic Radiology. The applicant must have experience in all facets of Diagnostic Radiology including radiography, CT, US, & MR.

The Division is an active clinical and academic service responsible for all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology with state-of-the-art technology at 14 VCU Health locations in central Virginia. VCU Medical Center is the only comprehensive Level I trauma center in the region verified in adult, pediatric and burn trauma care. We are one of only two adult Level I trauma centers in Virginia verified by the American College of Surgeons .

ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination, experience in a high-volume Radiology department and an interest in teaching is required. (Preferred is a completed fellowship in Neuroradiology, MSK, Abdominal Imaging or Emergency Radiology.) Applicants must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
