The Opportunity:MongoDB is a true data platform with a comprehensive suite of tools to make working with data remarkably easy for everyone, from developers to analysts to data scientists.We are growing our High-Tech Account Executive team across North America to help our customers be more productive while still providing all the capabilities needed to meet the most complex requirements at any scale.

Day to Day:Attract, Hire and Retain high achieving High Tech Account Executives and Regional Directors via all channels available (internal, external, self)Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales goalsProvide strong coaching and mentoring through an understanding of the inside sales role, our business model, and our sales methodology; This includes coaching on territory planning (including prospecting methods, development of CAE's pillars to success) all the way through deal support across each stage of the sales cycleConduct weekly forecast meetings with your team and report to leadershipCollaborate with Marketing and Partners to define sales strategies to build and develop pipelineDevelop and own Key Performance Indicators for the sales teamWhat you will bring to the table:Evidence of recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent (ICs and leaders)Evidence of understanding territory management at a regional levelTop 10% performer as an individual contributor, front-line manager, and second-line manager with a track record of overachievement (President's Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)Proven systems/methodology for consistent pipeline generationExperience using and teaching sales methodologies (Command of the Message, Sandler, etc.)Evidence of accurate forecasting at the individual and team levelsA true passion for sales & technology - we want leaders who love what they do and inspire their teamThings we love:Familiarity with database, web server, and open source technologyWorking experience with Salesforce.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings.

Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.MongoDB's base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$175,000-$175,000 USD.
