RN, Part Time - Surgical Trauma (Med Surg)

Overview:

Surgical 3A is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:

• • • Head-to-toe assessments
    • Reading and posting telemetry strips
    • IV insertions
    • Catheter, trach, and ostomy care
    • Wound care
    • Chest tubes

Mercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the Surgical Trauma 3A unit! Available positions are as follows:

• Part-time Availability
• Day Shift (7am-7pm)
• Night Shift (7pm-7am) - Strongly desired!

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.
Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
