4978Job Location : Redwood City, CAJob Type: Full-Time Rate of Pay: $160,000 - $187,000Job Duties: Develop and build automation infrastructure to enable new generations of medical robotics platform capability. Lead projects from concept to release for build and deployment infrastructure. Work as part of a team with roboticists and software engineers.
Engage engineers from other teams to gather requirements and build tools to increase day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness, which allows the team to speed up their design, build, and service next-generation medical device technology. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
Determine system performance standards. Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Automate GitLab pipelines, and scale up infrastructure. Ensure and maintain documentation as per FDA guidelines. Perform application vulnerability scans to ensure there are no security risks.
Automate tasks using YAML, Python, and Bash scripting. Analyze and reduce AWS costs.QualificationsRequirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior DevOps Software Engineer-related occupation.
