Perspectives, located in Raritan, NJ. Candidates near a Johnson and Johnson office in India, Switzerland, Belgium, and US will be considered. This position requires up to 20% travel (domestic and internationally).

Learn more at Enterprise Quality is a comprehensive organization within J&J that focuses on ensuring the highest standards of quality & compliance. It encompasses a Quality Operations division that handles Computer System Validation (CSV), QMS Management, and Commercial Quality Shared Services, including specialized support for Transportation Operations and Temperature Control.

Additionally, it includes a Transformation Office dedicated to steering strategic imperatives and enhancing the Quality & Compliance organization's strategy through initiatives like Data Strategy, Automated Product Release, and Digitalization of Quality Management Systems. The group further comprises a Data & Digital Strategy function tasked with developing and executing a holistic digital and data strategy to improve quality and compliance, covering areas such as Data Foundations, AI/ML & IoT technologies, Quality & Compliance Innovation, and Digital Assets validation. To facilitate the deployment of these strategic initiatives, the group employs two Deployment Offices for the MedTech and Innovative Medicines segments and maintains a global presence through three regional leaders managing operations in Asia Pacific (ASPAC), Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Americas.

The Transformation Office ensures efficient, measurable, and value-driven execution of the Q&C strategy, transformation portfolio, annual business planning cycles, and operational support for the office of Enterprise Quality VP.The Senior Manager, Quality & Compliance (Q&C) Innovation, Research & External Perspectives is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative Q&C strategies and capabilities. This role is pivotal in enhancing EQ and Q&C's competitive edge by integrating state-of-the-art practices and insights from external sources into our Q&C framework.

This role will implement an innovation framework (process + technology) to deliver on Q&C innovations. Lead the implementation of Innovation Tools such as Design Thinking across Q&C Lead the development of a Q&C Innovation portfolio, ensuring continuous enablement and governance Drive EQ's internal innovation initiatives by identifying new digital capabilities and innovative use cases to enhance internal operations, emphasizing high-value activities Conduct comprehensive benchmark analyses and leverage insights from leading industry experts and research firms (such as Gartner and Forrester) to inform and guide decision-making processes Identify and assimilate external information, trends, and best practices to address evolving business challenges, technological advancements, and opportunities for quality improvement Develop and maintain an effective working partnership with senior management Collaborate with leaders and staff within Transformation Office to ensure each function is executed in an efficient manner Ensure timely reports of status and metrics as required by the Transformation Office Ensure timely completion of assigned training and expense reportsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree A minimum of 8 years of business experience in a regulated environmentStrategic thinking, visionary and foresight to conceptualize new solutions that address core business objectivesExcellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organizationProject management experienceExecutive presentation skillsCollaborative approach and ability to connectAbility to managing complexity and ambiguityBifocal approach - ability to zoom-in/zoom-out for strategic and tactical, high-level, and detailed, etc.Ability to lead in the context of Our CredoThis position requires up to 20% travel.

(domestic and international)Preferred: Master's degree Experience in more than one of the following preferred (cross-sector): Consumer Products, Medical Devices and Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals.Specific experience in leading R&D or Innovation activitiesExperience in more than one of the following (cross-sector): Consumer Products, Medical Devices and Diagnostics, PharmaceuticalsWorking knowledge of innovation tools, including Design Thinking Specific experience in benchmarking and incorporating the outside/inside view through a functional strategic planning process and establishing metrics and scorecards to monitor progress against Strategic PlansExperience in partnering with external environment to consider future strategies in a healthcare environment, while adhering to the prevailing regulations or influencing their evolution in a health care industry would be an asset.Specific experience in advancing a culture of Innovation The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.
