Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Boston, MA (5-minute walk from South Station) Duration: Direct Hire Reports to: Lead Mechanical Engineer SUMMARY: Our client, a national engineering firm, is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their Boston office. This permanent position requires 4 days onsite in Boston, working with a collaborative, fun loving and dedicated team.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll perform meticulous design and comprehensive analysis of building system projects across all stages of development. Your primary goal will be to provide innovative solutions, navigate intricate codes proficiently, and serve as a beacon of guidance for our team including training, coaching and quality control. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical systems design and equipment specification Code analysis Energy modeling Sustainability certification documentation such as LEED, Passivhaus, and Living Building Challenge Life cycle cost analysis REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) Degree from accredited college or university Minimum of seven years of mechanical engineering and design for commercial building systems EIT Certification required, PE preferred Design experience using Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experience with field work and documentation of existing engineering conditions Apply today to be considered immediately!.
