You will be a senior member of the Systems team, which is flexible in supporting a growing, dynamic team of software, research, and systems engineers. This role is a means to make a difference: you will maintain the backbone of a rapidly growing technology enterprise.ResponsibilitiesRefine/Define topology of corporate and production networkBuild out highly available and scalable network infrastructureUtilize Automation/IAC tools to create reproducible and audited configurations.
Enhance network monitoring infrastructure Participate in an occasional on-call rotationRequirementsAt least five years of professional networking experience with increasing responsibility and scope of workExperience with enterprise switches (Juniper preferred)Significant knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol.Experience with network protocols such as VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, LAG, IPSecExperience with high-performance network infrastructure to enable high-performance distributed storage solutions.Understanding of network securityAbility to use automation tools for reproducible network configurations.
Eagerness to work with diverse teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with BSD based firewalls Experience with Linux OS Experience scripting with Python or other interpreted languageExperience with Cloud networking.The base salary for this position is $170,000 to $205,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation, such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
