Job Summary
: We have a great full-time opportunity for a Structural Engineer at one of our California Offices. The successful candidate will be a registered Structural Engineer with OSHPD/HCAI experience and experience designing structural elements such as framing and foundation systems for buildings, retaining walls, minor bridges and culverts, and other misc.

Location: Irvine, Ontario, Los Angeles, San Diego, Thousand Oaks CA Employment Type: 40 FT Hours Compensation Type: Salary Registration(s): Licensed Structural Engineer Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Duties/Responsibilities: Design engineering of vertical structures for commercial & institutional projects; transportation and transit systems, federal and public works projects Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations Develop structural details and construction plans using Revit Provides input and technical guidance to BIM and CADD Designer/Drafters and other project staff Work closely with Engineers and other disciplines to assure coordinated design systems Review shop drawings, perform field observations, and facilitate the construction administration process Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Licensed Structural Engineer in State of California 8+ years' experience in Structural Engineering including Construction Administration 3+ years' experience in designing projects in the California health care market, higher education market, federal or public works or seismic upgrade of existing buildings Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design specifications and AASHTO Guide Specifications for LRFD Seismic Bridge design is desirable OSHPD/HCAI experience is required; extensive experience is strongly preferred DSA experience is strongly preferred Understanding of International Building Code, ASCE 7, ASCE 61-14, ACI 318 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete, AISC Steel Construction Manual, AISC Seismic Design Manual and other material design codes Ability to interact with clients and multi-discipline team members Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

The expected salary range for this position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on the success candidate's individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and consideration to participate in our discretionary annual bonus incentive program
