MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics, avg daily census 28RATIO: 1:4/5UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBARDiagnoses: CHF, STEMI, NSTEMI, renal, pulmonary, trauma, stroke, TIA. Anything not unstable enough to require ICU but not stable enough for med surg.Special Procedures: peritoneal dialysis, CPAP, BIPAP, EKG monitoring, stress test, cardiac caths, TR bands. SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not GuaranteedHoliday RTO cannot be requested, however No one works all the major holidays unless they request to do so.WEEKENDS: Weekends are required for unit coverage. Sometimes it is not every other, can be split for coverage.FLOATING: Float to other departments as needed to cover facility
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
