IM&T Practitioner - Solution Architecture - £85.78PH UMB - Mostly Remote

Remote - 1-2 days per month on-site at Barrow-In-Furness - £83.55 per hour inside IR35 - 6 months - SC Cleared UK EYES ONLY

We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect within the IM&T Product Fulfilment (PF) Product Group at our site in Barrow.

As an Solution Architect, you will be supporting a number of key activities in the IM&T PF Architecture team.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business, determining their requirements, liaising with internal IT stakeholders and advising on IT solutions to meet them, while ensuring alignment with the functional and organisational strategy/roadmap.

• Supporting the Demand Management meetings to help route demand appropriately to delivery teams
• Undertaking Business Analysis with customers and eliciting their requirements
• Aligning incoming demand to the functional and overall strategic roadmap
• Defining Solution Options in line with customer requirements
• Producing Architecture Packs to communicate complexity surrounding customer demand
• Producing High Level Designs to gain quotations from the IT service provider and mobilise IT projects
• Production of weekly performance metrics for IM&T management

• Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis Process
• Knowledge of the IM&T function - teams within the function and their high level responsibilities

• Competent in capturing and understanding customer requirements
• Competent in stakeholder management and engagement
• Knowledge and experience in modelling and solution architecture
• Knowledge and experience of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
• Competent in identifying risks and opportunities
• Good all round knowledge of technical/VM work/Cloud for non-secure data
• General understanding of Cloud architectural principles
