Digital Content Designer - Perm (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: up to £55k
 

What you'll do:

  • Identify and build strong relationships with clients across projects, influencing and collaborating with them on the content
  • Create and iterate accurate user-centred content to a high standard that meets user needs
  • Use analytics data, user feedback and user research to identify the needs of users and map user journeys
  • Make complex language and processes easy to understand
  • Bring new ideas and challenge the status quo
  • Be an advocate for user-centred design, iterative and agile approaches.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We'd love to meet someone with:

  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practice
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams to design and deliver user-centred services
  • Experience of designing content for diverse users including accessibility and assisted digital needs
  • You will either already have SC (Security Check) Clearance or you are able to qualify for this level of clearance (by being a UK resident for at least 5 years and not having left the country for more than 28 consecutive days during this period)
  • Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, applying GDS design principles
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

It would be ideal if you also have:

  • Experience working in sectors that operate in complex regulatory environments (eg healthcare or public sector) or performing a consulting function to private sector clients
  • Certification and/or qualifications in Service Design or Design Thinking
  • Experience in running training around Service Design or Design Thinking
  • Experience managing and leading high performing teams
  • Experience working with various tools such as Miro, Mural, Teams, PowerPoint
