Capital Project Manager (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £400 - £500 per day
 

Burman Recruitment is working with a UK leading University to recruit a Construction Project Manager on an interim basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Help with and be accountable for the management, development, and execution of capital projects within the assigned levels of responsibility. This includes creating the initial brief, supervising the design stages, procurement, construction, and motoring budgets, as well as putting together the final accounts proposal and completing the practical completion of the assigned levels of responsibility.
  • Interaction with user departments and outside project teams to guarantee that projects fulfil the requirements and standards of the college.
  • Encourage the right project, equipment, fixture, and fittings to be purchased in compliance with the assigned levels of authority.
  • Give college employees direction and advice regarding the Group's capital project approach.
  • Communicate and consult with user departments to ensure the appropriate levels of engagement.
  • Monitor and report to the Design Managers on the design development process to ensure appropriate levels of space utilisation in accordance with the Group's specific requirements.
  • Support all stakeholders throughout the project and ensure their requirements achieved in line with agreed objectives.
  • Support lessons learned sessions following post project reviews and implement recommendations.
