Collateral Operations Regulatory Change Specialist

My high-profile banking client is seeking a motivated Regulatory Change Specialist to join our dynamic team on an initial contract until the end of December 2024. You will work Monday to Friday on a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days a week in their Bromley office and 2 days remotely during the hours of 9:00 - 17:00.

Job Description:

As a Collateral Operations Regulatory Change Specialist, you will play a key role in driving and facilitating the regulatory change agenda for Global Markets Collateral Operations. Working closely with Legal, Compliance, Collateral, and Technology teams, you will analyse new regulations, assess their impact on processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for governance and control of the portfolio of regulatory changes impacting the group.

Key Role and Daily Tasks:

• Lead the delivery of regulatory changes impacting Collateral Operations, with a primary focus on Transaction Reporting rewrites across EMEA and APAC in 2024.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create monthly Regulatory Change Governance materials.
• Conduct controls on regulations already implemented.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge in a Global Markets Operations or Collateral Operations role.
• A self-starter who can work independently to deliver business goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive process forward while seeking guidance when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; ability to write SQL queries is beneficial.
