Agile Project Manager (Permanent)

Location: Sale Country: UK Rate: £40k - £55k per annum

A software house with modern, data driven software solutions is looking for an Agile Project Manager to join the team. They've grown a lot over the last few years and this role has come around due to further growth. As a company, they're committed to staying ahead of the curve and have suite of very successful software products, working with clients in both the private and public sectors.

They have an established Agile Project Management function, so you'll have people to lean and learn form. There's genuine scope to climb the ladder with clearly set out criteria in how to progress within the company - they really are obsessed with seeing people succeed. On top of this, they fund accreditations/certifications to stand you in good stead for your career as well as getting a full day every month dedicated to learning/upskilling.

Requirements for the role:

* Software background/experience working with a range of technical people/close to technical teams - at the very least, you'll need to be able to understand things from a technical perspective and be able to convey this to non-technical people

* Full Project Management lifecycle experience - this may suit someone that is currently within a smaller software company and has a lot of responsibility, rather than someone that is at a massive bank and is a smaller cog in a big machine

* Extensive experience applying Agile principles, processes and practices - the company really epitomises what it means to be Agile, so experience of Agile Project Management is essential

* Exposure to budgeting - you don't need to have specifically been responsible of managing the budget but at least been in and around conversations

* Experience working on Web Application and Software Development projects

* Internal and external Stakeholder Management experience

* Good understanding of Software Development practices

* Experience of managing multiple projects at once

* Experience of managing their own projects

Nice to haves:

* Exposure to/experience of other Project Management methodologies such as Kanban and Waterfall - some of their clients use these methodologies and you will need to be open to working with them

* Prior career experience working within tech ie, as a Developer or Tester

* Experience working with a wide range of size of customers

* Experience working within Financial Services of Pensions

* Prince qualification

The company are based in Altrincham and have a hybrid working policy. They'd expect you to be in the office at least once per week, but this may be more than once per week on the odd occasion. Client visits may be expected a couple of times per year, but this will be planned well in advance and completely covered by expenses. In terms of budget, they can pay up to £55,000 with potential to go slightly above this for the perfect candidate. In terms of benefits, they have a bonus, strong pension, private medical, life assurance and more.

If you're an Agile Project Manager that wants to join a growing software company, then please apply and/or contact Jack Steven at Cathcart Technology.
